About

My current role is Programmer/Analyst and Web Developer at Oakville Public Library. I am responsible for everything on our public website, as well as many internal applications that I have created.

In addition to programming, I am also tasked with being my library’s BiblioCommons Liason, being the single point of contact for all feature requests, bug reports, and informing staff as appropriate.

I am also the Chair of an internal Website Team, which puts many large scale, high impact changes before a committee for approval and sanity checks. This team has representatives from Online Services, information specialists, public service, Marketing, and our executive team.

I have spoken to various groups of various sizes on various topics. I have spoken at regional BiblioCommons information sessions, SLUGO, and OLA. I am starting to record some of these talks, and hope to post them on this site to help libraries from greater distances.
